entertain themselves or just to pass the free time? Of course, it is the
internet, not only for entertainment but also as an everyday need. I would like
to talk about the internet once again, invite you to discuss it with me, and
remind you to use it with even more caution. Since the internet has been used
by almost everyone, a lot of people use it in many different ways. In other
words, there are two kinds of users who use the internet, either for positive
or harmful effects. This subject is important to be discussed.
The Internet has also got its two sides.
The question is how we use or choose those sides, because most things in life
must always have two sides—the positive and the negative. Of course, a wise man
will surely prefer things that would help him above those that will hurt him.
Sometimes, however, intelligent or ignorant people make the wrong decision. I
will give some advice on responsible internet use to improve our quality of
life since using it wrongly or rightly will surely lead to loss.
Do not follow superficial trends; many on
social media look critical yet are not, in turn making people want to follow
them. Many people encourage you to do it for the sake of social media, so that
we can make a hot healing video somewhere; please, no more games. Whereas games
are enjoyable and also thrilling, when we get overdependent on them, there is a
risk of losing track of time and other responsibilities. The most common
victims of video game addiction are school-going children, and through this,
they neglect their schoolwork. Video gaming activities disturb the students'
studying abilities quite often: they can stay late in the evening playing video
games and come into class tired trying to learn.
These can be regulated by making a
schedule, setting time limits, and only playing when other and more important
things are done. You should put away your electronics before sleeping. Most
people would use their technology even after they want to go to sleep, and this
makes them spend more time than they intended to. More so if they use it to get
onto social media, play mindless games into the late hours of the night, or
receive notifications from social media indicating that they must check their
accounts. It needs to be a little bit farther away from the bed to make it all
the more difficult to reach out and use.
Eliminate any program that you do not need.
Sometimes we continue to run applications that are not needed but put us in danger anyway. If we have a large number of applications that are of no importance and don't seem to progress or improve, we should remove the extras and only keep the ones that are necessary. While using a device, you should keep it a distance from your eyes, as we all know devices give off radiation rays that damage your eyes.
These are some responsible uses of technology guidelines; ideally, we can all adapt to them.
Reduce your usage of social media. A social media addict usually uses it without restraint. We can defeat social media addiction by limiting our usage of it. If we usually spend dozens, if not hundreds, of hours per day on social media, then we can reduce it to two or three hours per day.
The above explanation gives an overview of
how the internet is needed in daily life and how humans cannot be separated
from it. Essentially, the internet has plenty of advantages for humanity if
people understand their boundaries and make use of it for useful purposes that
will be advantageous to themselves and others.
