In this world, everyone dreams of having a nice and respectful life, to be appreciated by others. There would be more peace in the world if people learn to appreciate one another. Though not everyone is able to respect one another, everyone aspires to be respected. That is clearly wrong, because first of all, you have to be able to respect other people to be able to respect yourself. So that way, people also will start giving respects to you. Indonesia is a country with so much diversity: custom, culture, language, and different beliefs on religion; tolerance is demanded to maintain this Indonesia's distinctiveness. Unfortunately, there still exist some intolerable people in the world. Thanks to its tolerance and unity, Indonesia has been highly united so far. However, if this trend were to go on without check, soon it would also threaten that unity. We can take a few steps in order to stop the spread of prejudice.

I will bring tolerance back to Indonesia by enlightening all Indonesians about the peace-supportive narratives that I have obtained from participating in peace-enhancing organizations. History can attest that tolerance and acceptance of individual differences among Indonesians were the keys toward the declaration of independence of Indonesia, which united Indonesia from Sabang to Merauke regardless of differences in race, culture, or creed. Therefore, education for Indonesians about the importance of diversity and tolerance, in my mind, will add to the battle being conducted against intolerance. I really hope that all people are doing the same by spreading peace through the use of the internet, not conducting provocations, and building an Indonesia that is tolerant and peaceful. I hereby would like to see that the relevant effort in eradicating intolerance to protect diversity and ensure a peaceful way of life from all Indonesians.

We can stop hate speech that may trigger wars by being responsible citizens, using the internet to propagate decent messages and not insulting remarks, to keep it alive. Hence, let us help attain world peace by not starting nor participating in an online war that would spread discordant notes. Indeed, goodness and harmony may be the fruits of tolerance. Tolerance towards life allows people from different walks of life to coexist peacefully. Whatever that has to be, let's work together and share films and other messages speaking about peace on the internet. You may even open a blog promoting peace as a means of bettering this place for our grandkids and all those coming after them. Above everything else, all will be able to live together with respect for one another, foremost themselves.
